The Systems Plugin is ideal to monitor and control complex systems that use multiple platforms, computing resources and applications that are interdependent.
With functions that monitor cross-platform system process usage, port listening, and Windows services, the Systems Plugin brings peace of mind that your systems are behaving correctly.
Based upon the results, automated alerts notify users with status updates or prompt action to remediate conditions to prevent system unavailability.
For example, a task is created to check the resource usage of Oracle Hyperion Planning. If the process’ physical memory exceeds a certain threshold, an automatic action is created to restart the service. With the Email Plugin alerts are setup that will send email notification when the memory threshold is reaching a level to raise concern.
