PARTNER CATEGORIES

The StarPartners program offers several different partnership categories. Read the brief descriptions below to determine which category is ideal for your organization.

• Marketing Partners—Star Marketing Partners can introduce Star Analytics into their key client accounts on an occasional or one-off basis in return for a Marketing Assistance Fee (MAF) for any Star products sold. Star manages the sales cycle and provides support and training on the Star products, while all other services are provided by the Partner.
• Service Partners—Star Service Partners are independent service providers who offer consulting and/or training services on the use of Star products. Although Service Partners are not expected to actively assist in selling Star products, they may do so for a MAF (see above).
• Affiliate Partners—Star Affiliate Partners work with Star Analytics to resell Star products into key client accounts. Star and the Partner jointly manage the sales cycle, while frontline support, training and any additional consulting services are owned and provided by the Partner (with assistance from Star).
• Preferred Partners—Star Preferred Partners can resell Star products into any of their client accounts. The Partner manages the sales cycle (with support from Star as necessary), while frontline support, training and any additional consulting services are owned and provided by the Partner (with assistance from Star).
• Distribution Partners—Star Distribution Partners market, distribute and support Star products in markets where Star does not have a presence (i.e. outside North America). The Partner manages the entire reselling process in the target market(s), including marketing, sales, consulting, training and support services, with backup and assistance as necessary from Star.
