The new features in Star Finance Command Center help customers extend the value of Oracle Hyperion Financial
Data Quality Management by harnessing its strong capabilities in areas such as data quality, accuracy and
consistency, while bringing enhanced internal controls for compliance and reporting. Star Finance Command Center
also features a library of specific tasks for Oracle Hyperion Financial Management that eliminate complex code,
making it easy to automate and monitor end-to-end tasks that span multiple Finance application processes.
“Finance managers are looking for new ways to integrate and maintain complex Finance application ecosystems
without becoming technologists or pulling IT away from more strategic tasks,” said Tom Tortolani, vice president,
products, Star Analytics. “Star Analytics and Oracle offer a much easier and more cost-effective approach to ensure
data accuracy and make quick business decisions.”
“Organizations are always looking for ways to speed close cycle times while improving the integrity of their
financial data,” said John O’Rourke, vice president of product marketing at Oracle. “The combination of Oracle’s
market-leading financial close and reporting applications and the Star Finance Command Center is a powerful one-two
punch that helps achieve that goal by streamlining systems for more consistent, timely, transparent and accurate
financial data and processes.”
