SCC File Utilities Plugin 1.5 Available for Download

To Our Valued Customers and Partners,

We are pleased to announce the general availability of the Star Command Center File Utilities Plugin 1.5.

This release is compatible with Star Command Center 3.0.4 and upwards. Full cross-platform support is available with Star Command Center 3.0.6. This version of the File Utilities Plugin has added features and it replaces all earlier versions. The enhancements and improvements are summarized below:

Enhancements:

  • New – Extract List – Extracts a list of values from a column-based file with the option to filter the results.
  • New – Filter by Time – Select lines from a log file based upon a time stamp.
  • Enhanced – Checksum – Added filter based upon string matching with exact, regular expressions and globs.
  • Enhanced – Directory / Copy / Move – Added support for Universal Naming Convention (UNC).
  • Enhanced – Find / Replace – Added file overwrite option.

Download the latest release of this Plugin using your company login credentials or update your Plugins dynamically by choosing Tools → Manage Plugin Tasks → Download from Star from within the Star Command Center administrative console.
